"I love you" he said.
She took a step back, "what?" she asked confused.
The cold wind sent a chill down her spine. He sensed that she was cold so he took off his jacket and put it around her shoulders.
"I love you, like a lot." He repeated himself, this time looking straight into her eyes with an honest look.
She remained silent and looked away.
What was she supposed to say? I'm sorry I'm too fragile? I'm sorry I don't believe you? I'm sorry but I don't deserve this?
She looked back up at him, he was honest. He had the most loving eyes, that gleamed brighter than any moon.
He moved closer to her, as if reassuring her that he's not going anywhere.
He brushed her cheek and smiled invitingly at her.
Her face was blank. She was fighting every urge in her body to just allow herself to fall in his arms, to allow herself to love him.
But she was too afraid.
She wore her heart on her sleeve way too many times.
She fell in love and fell hard on her face, way too many times.
It was hard for her to trust in love, trust in men.
way too hard..
"Please say something," He whispered.
She breathed out, "Why? Why do you love me?? I never gave you permission to do so!"
He was bumped out.
He held her face and looked right in her eyes, "Well you know what, I can find a million little reasons as to why I love you and you don't have to agree with a single one. You make me laugh, you make me feel strong, I enjoy spending every minute of my life with you. You're different, and I love that about you. You have the soul of an angel, and loving spirit that I've never seen before. You can walk into a room and light it up with that beautiful smile of yours and that amazing sense of humor you have! You just can't see it can you?? You spend so much time trying to protect yourself from getting hurt that you're missing out on so much! I care about YOU! I want to protect you, I want to love you! And I don't care whether thats okay with you or not! I've been in love with you since the day I met you! And you keep on pulling me closer to you, as if you have this magnetic force over me! Let me love you, let me be the one for you. I just need you to crash into me, fall right into my arms, I'll catch you, I swear.."

Her mind told her not too, but her heart won the battle.

All she could ever do, was press her soft cold lips onto his warm lips.
A kiss that showered her with warmth, a kiss that brought her back to life.
He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him as he kissed her softly and passionately. Happiness was the only thing his heart could feel, and her heart was glowing. She loved him back, all those years they've been friends, she has been loving him but was too afraid to show it.
He was by her side all along as just a friend, when his heart was aching to be more than that.
And now, she was crashing right into him.
He waited so long for this moment that he'd never imagine he'd get.

He picked her up and wrapped her around him as his kisses became more intense.
"I love you, I loved you all along." She finally confessed.
